However, the Spurs regained control of the game in the second half. Wembanyama led the Texans' comeback, supported by a balanced team with six players scoring in double figures. Despite Brunson's 32 points for the home team, the Knicks were unable to avoid their first loss after 13 consecutive playoff victories.
