Ukraine's Prosecutor General, Ruslan Kravchenko, has released a new video from the moment of the explosion that occurred outside the residence of Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolaev in Monaco, describing it as one of the most important pieces of evidence in the investigation into his assassination.

The footage, recorded by a surveillance camera allegedly installed in advance by the attackers, shows Yermolaev and his family approaching the entrance to the building. As they climb the stairs, the explosion occurs. According to Ukrainian media UNN, the suspects tried to destroy the footage, but experts from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) managed to recover it.

After the attack, Yermolaev stated that the assassination attempt was organized by persons connected to the military intelligence structures of Ukraine (GUR). “Based on the investigative evidence available to us, we have no doubt that active officers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) were directly involved in this assassination attempt,” the businessman’s statement, distributed through his lawyers, said.

However, these are Yermolaev's claims and no official confirmation has been made by the investigative authorities regarding GUR's responsibility.

Meanwhile, according to French investigators, Anastasia Berezovskaya, a Ukrainian citizen, has been identified as a suspect in the placement of an explosive device in a public place with criminal intent. The explosion occurred as Yermolaev was leaving the building with his partner and their 13-year-old son. As a result of the attack, the businessman was seriously injured, while his partner was taken to hospital in critical condition. Investigations to fully unravel the incident are ongoing.
