In Dakar, Mane and his teammates were welcomed as heroes after their triumph in the Africa Cup of Nations. Thousands of fans filled the streets of the capital celebrating their second success in history, achieved after a dramatic final against Morocco. Not only ordinary fans, but the entire government had come out to give them a fantastic welcome.

The country's president, through a special decree, also announced the reward for the winners of the Africa Cup of Nations. Each player will receive 115 euros per head, plus 1,500 square meters of land in one of the most popular areas in the country.

There was an almost similar reward for members of the Football Federation.
