Analyst Edvin Kulluri, invited to the News 24 lunch program, opposite Ola Brukos, condemned the statement of Serbian Minister Snežana Paunović, who stated that if she had been in Milošević's place, she would have carried out ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.
He said that such statements should not be underestimated because the Balkans are a powder keg and this poses a danger.
Kulluri also said that Prime Minister Edi Rama should not have submitted a letter for joint negotiations with Serbia for EU integration.
"They don't call the Balkans a powder keg for nothing, two wars have started from the Balkans. You know very well the commitment to maintaining security in Kosovo and Bosnia.
This statement shows that Serbia cannot align with European values and there is no recognition of Kosovo without a total change in political will, or the EU must give up on the project to include Serbia in the EU.
The provocation comes now because they are in the electoral campaign. How is it possible that our prime minister is writing a letter for inclusion in joint negotiations with Serbia?
"We cannot continue to play hide and seek, but relations must be unconditional except with the recognition of Kosovo. Until Rama came to power, relations with Serbia were almost zero," he said.
