A fatal accident occurred on the Lushnje-Fier highway.

It is learned that a vehicle hit a pedestrian. As a result of the injuries sustained, 70-year-old Skënder Maledhi lost his life.

The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old citizen, was taken to the police station for further action.

Notifying the police;

At around 19:25, on the Fier-Lushnjë road, citizen G. Sh., 52 years old, while driving, hit a pedestrian, citizen SM, around 70 years old, who, as a result of the collision, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, citizen G. Sh., was escorted to the Police Station for further action.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
