Three people have been arrested by the Fier Police, suspected of being the perpetrators of several apartment burglaries in Patos. The police operation codenamed "The Walkers" was finalized after an investigation conducted by the Fier Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Force.

F. Gj., 43 years old, DA, 31 years old, both residents of Gjirokastra, and II, 41 years old, resident of Tepelena, were arrested.

The three suspects were caught red-handed in the center of Patos, while driving a vehicle. During the physical search, one of them, F. Gj., was found and seized a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa. Meanwhile, during the search of the DA's apartment, the police found and seized another quantity of cannabis sativa.

Investigations have revealed that on August 5 and 6, in the "1 Maji" neighborhood and in the village of Dukas in Patos, the three individuals are suspected of having robbed two apartments. They took gold jewelry, 3500 euros and two mobile phones.

Also, on September 9, they are suspected of attempting to rob two apartments in the village of Zharrëz, Patos.

The police continue their investigations in cooperation with the Gjirokastra Local Police Directorate and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of fully documenting their suspected criminal activity.

Also, work is underway to solve other theft cases in the Fier and Gjirokastër districts, where the three arrested may be involved.
