A 21-year-old woman originally from Korça, who reported a surgeon on Sunday, has confessed how she was sexually harassed after undergoing surgery. In a confession for the show 'With an Open Heart' on News24 of moderator and author Evis Ahmeti, the girl revealed that the doctor, from the beginning when he visited her, had made several gestures that seemed suspicious to her.
Meanwhile, she said that after consultations, the doctor had suggested a cream for vaginal infection, which she said the 72-year-old had applied himself. She said that when he had visited her after appendicitis surgery, the doctor had kissed her.
"I don't have much pain, just a little discomfort. The wound is fine. On Sunday at 6 o'clock I went to see my grandmother in the treatment room. There I undressed and took off my clothes. Then he tried to kiss me, but I avoided him. I was shocked. He applied that vaginal cream to me, but the gestures were strange. He made some movements with his finger. He told me that he had to apply this cream again, and on Monday. When I reacted, he started laughing and seemed very mean to me. Then I told my grandmother that I didn't want to stay in the hospital anymore, then I told my father. Then they took him to the police. Then we confronted each other at the police station. I told him that you kissed me. He denied it, but I told him that if you have the courage to deny it. I would never make an unfounded accusation. He is the same age as my grandparents. The confrontation was in the presence of the crime boss. Then the doctor started talking, he denied. Then I started talking too. I was agitated because I knew what I had said. Voices were raised a little. Then they left me and the doctor alone. He was saying that; I was lying. Because he knew why I was lying. He was saying; I didn't kiss you. He denied it. On Tuesday I went to the hospital. There this doctor visited me. He told me; you have an infection. He visited me, even though I thought I had gastritis. He told me that I had a vaginal infection. Then he told me to apply this cream from the first day. The tests hadn't come out yet. With my grandmother, after I asked him the question; are you a gynecologist? He told me; I have a surgeon, and I have specialized. When he applied the cream to me, I didn't like some of his behavior, because I know how gynecologists behave. I didn't want to lie down, even taking the incident in question as a trigger. He told me you have a serious infection and was insisting. Then We went down to the emergency room and he gave me an IV. They took my blood and did some tests. We went home and after the tests came back they told us they were bad. We went back to the hospital. He checked my stomach with his hand and told me to do a push-up and asked me if I felt any pain. I told him I did. I had surgery in the morning. On the day of the surgery, he checked my surgery and told me to apply the cream. I called my mom and told her. I was very upset. She got very nervous. When these reactions, the comments came out, I'm glad that other girls have also reported it. Now I feel good, because it could happen to other girls too," he said.
