Snowfall has returned to the Dibra Region above 600 meters above sea level. The snow began during the early morning hours, while in the deep mountainous areas a thickness of up to 15 centimeters is reported.

Significant snowfalls have been recorded in the administrative units of Lura, Kala e Dodës, Selishtë, Zall-Dardhe, Zall-Reç, Sllovë, as well as in Trebisht, Ostren and the Martanesh area.

As a result of the snow, problems have been created on rural roads. Traffic difficulties are also reported on the Arbri Road, mainly from Qafa e Buallit towards Peshkopia. The most problematic situation is on the national road in the pine forest area in Fushë-Bulqizë, where there is snow and ice on the asphalt.

The Traffic Police appeal to drivers to drive with winter tires and chains, as snowfall continues at high intensity.

According to official information, at the moment there are no reported traffic jams from Ura e Vashës to Shkalla e Tujanit. Meanwhile, the Qafë-Buall tunnel and the Qafë-Buall–Peshkopi segment lack salt, while some parts of Rruga e Arbri have ice and snow on the asphalt.
