On Tuesday, December 9, the High Prosecutorial Council will vote for Joni Keta to head the National Bureau of Investigation. Keta, who currently holds the position of deputy director of the Bureau, was proposed as the head in the final stages of a process that lasted several months.
There were 7 candidates in the race to lead the structure that assists SPAK in investigations, including senior police officials, as well as prosecutors.
In its first 5-year term, the structure dubbed the Albanian FBI was led by Aida Hajnaj.
