Journalist Basir Çollaku, invited to the studio of the show "Log." in News24, has commented on the decision of the GJKKO to suspend Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who is being investigated by SPAK for several issues in the field of tendering.

Çollaku stated that, in his assessment, the SPAK investigation could lead to a request to lift Balluk's immunity. He emphasized that there are currently two open files against her: the Llogara tunnel tender and Lot 4 of the Tirana Grand Ring Road.

According to the journalist, the focus of the investigations are also other issues, such as suspicions of money laundering, oil smuggling, energy production in the power plants known as "Tigers", as well as possible elements of electoral crimes.

Çollaku added that SPAK's property investigation could also be extended to Balluk's family members, including her sister, Pamela Qirko, who according to him has also acted as a lawyer in several cases.

In his analysis, the journalist also referred to international coverage of recent events in Albania. According to him, around 50 foreign media outlets have published articles describing the country with the term "narcostate", citing anti-mafia prosecutors and numerous reports that have circulated mainly in Europe over the last ten days.
