RTSH begins preparations for the most important phase of organizing the Spring Festival, which returns to RTSH after more than two decades. In order for the festival to create the greatest possible visibility for all viewers and to include every artist or young person who wishes to be part of the event.
General Director, Eni Vasili announced that it was decided to remove the age criterion, giving all interested artists the opportunity to be part of the competition.
"The debate on whether we should have an age limit at the Spring Festival is more than welcome, in fact, because it shows the value it has for this festival. We also discussed this issue extensively with the artistic directors of the festival, such as Kaçinari and Saraçi, and decided that we should remove the age limit. This is to give an opportunity to anyone who wants to come to the Spring Festival, to compete with a song and why not win. Of course, the first idea to limit the age was to give an opportunity to young people and as Kaçinari says, there were no limits, on the contrary, it was a kind of motivation for young people, but since there is interest even in those over 30, we are more than open and very happy for them to come," said the General Director of RTSH, Eni Vasili.
The Director of RTSH also announced that for this reason the deadline for submitting musical materials will be extended.
"We have removed the age restriction, now this festival can be accessed by everyone and to give everyone the opportunity, we have also postponed the dates for submitting songs, not from 7-13 as we had, but from 7-18 is the time when all interested parties can submit their songs to RTSH", said Vasili.
In order to have the most efficient preparations for the Spring Festival and increase the performance of the public broadcaster, the Director General of RTSH, Eni Vasili, gathered in a meeting the festival organizers, the moderator and the head of RTSH production. The meeting aimed at the best possible coordination for the coverage of this artistic event.
"The interest of post-30 year olds makes us happy, we are waiting for them with great pleasure. We thank RTSH for the trust it has given us", said maestro Alfred Kaçinari.
But RTSH's attention in the coming weeks will also be devoted to Eurovision, where Albania is represented by Alis Kallaçi, with his song "Nan", so the singer was also part of today's meeting.
"The tour has been, at least for this year, a surprise considering that it was the first time and I didn't know how it worked, but the tour has been like a very healthy campaign for the songs and it has resulted in the best possible way for us. Considering that the other artists were also very open to joining the content, to singing each other's songs," said the singer.
Today's consultative meeting aims to maximize not only the visibility of RTSH's artistic productions but also to provide support to career artists, young artists, and all those who want to be promoted at RTSH.
The Public Broadcaster continues its efforts to always bring a bouquet of programs that respond to the public's interest.
