Swiss-made arms exports increased significantly in 2025, despite restrictions.
Last year, exports of military equipment rose by 43% to 948.2 million Swiss francs (1.04 billion euros) after two consecutive years of decline.
Germany remained the largest market, with 386.4 million francs, followed by the US (92.4 million), Hungary (63.4 million), Italy (62.2 million) and Luxembourg (47.4 million).
This mainly concerns ammunition, armored vehicles and spare parts sent to Germany, weapons parts sold to Italy and fighter jet parts exported to the US, according to Seco.
