Tirana Police have arrested 46-year-old Urim Meta in flagrante delicto, after 4 TNT shells, 2 firearms and 1500 cartridges of various calibers were found in his vehicle.
According to the police, the arrested man is suspected of having obtained the weapons and explosives in the village of Shëngjergj and was transporting them to Tirana with the intention of selling them.

During the operation, citizen Urim Meta, 46 years old, resident of Tirana, was caught red-handed on the road to the village of Shëngjergj.
During a search of the vehicle he was driving, 4 TNT cartridges, 2 firearms and 1500 cartridges of various calibers were found.
The weapons and ammunition were seized as evidence, along with the arrested person's vehicle and cell phone.
The investigation continues, led by the Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of bringing other citizens involved in this criminal activity to criminal responsibility.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
