American pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce have set their wedding date.
According to media reports, the ceremony should take place on July 3, 2026 in New York.
This information comes after months of speculation that the couple would say their fateful "I do" in Rhode Island, where Swift owns a luxury estate. However, recent reports indicate that they have chosen a larger, more urban space in New York, so that they can host more celebrities.
New York has a special meaning for the singer, who owns several properties in that city and has been professionally and privately associated with it for a long time.
The choice of date also carries symbolism – the wedding is planned the day before American Independence Day, a holiday that Swift loves dearly.
Swift and Kelce's relationship began in the summer of 2023, in a somewhat unusual way. Kelce later revealed that he tried to meet the singer during her "Eras" tour, wanting to give her a bracelet with his phone number on it, but failed.
Soon after, the two connected, and in September 2023, Swift publicly supported Kelce for the first time by coming to a game of his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, where she sat with his family.
Their relationship quickly became public and in October of the same year they were seen together in New York after the Saturday Night Live show, practically confirming their romance.
Throughout 2023 and 2024, the couple was often in the spotlight. Swift regularly attended NFL games to support Kelce, while he traveled the world to attend her concerts.
After about two years of dating, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 via social media, along with photos of a romantic proposal.
