Prime Minister Edi Rama considers SPAK's evidence against his former deputy, Belinda Balluku, who is accused of corruption with tenders in several cases, causing millions of euros in damage to the state budget, to be credible.

During his speech at the meeting of the socialist parliamentary group, where the majority presented its report on SPAK's request for Balluk's immunity, Rama said that if he were a member of the Mandates Council, he would return the voluminous 16-page materials of the Special Prosecution Office.

Edi Rama: They returned (Veliaj) with a house arrest warrant. This is arrest without trial! Nothing more, nothing less. This is how the constitution gives us the opportunity not to lose sight of and not to help the biggest victim of the justice reform, the principle of the presumption of innocence. In order to raise the vote to vote on the request for Balluk's arrest with the cards, we must have at least one of the reasons we had when we did it before. I'm not saying we have a crime scene or flagrant conditions, or destruction of evidence, or an escape attempt, which are valid reasons.

For the other one, there was an accusation of money laundering, the reaper, it seemed to us that the request was justified at that time. I also have something, the voluminous material, 16 thousand pages, is actually an indicator of the weakness of the accusations, but they are studies, projects, orders, they are the archive of the Ministry of Infrastructure during the leadership of Balluk, taken by truck, taken to be included in the file.

A file that, if it proves anything, is the strongest proof of the serious work of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the rest are rubbish. If I were one of those on the Mandates Council, I would turn those 1600 pages back, they are rubbish. Optical illusions! Do you remember those broken mirrors when you were a child, they would catch the sun and hit it in the eye as if the sun was coming towards you, so are those 16 thousand pages.
