Today's civic protest in the capital has ended, marking the 40th day of consecutive and massive rallies against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama. Today's revolt initially began with the gathering of citizens in "Skënderbej" Square, from where the large march began towards the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard to stop in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.

With banners in their hands, flamingo symbols, and strong anti-system calls, citizens and activists ignited the atmosphere on the streets of Tirana.

This day was characterized by harsh speeches and ironic actions, where young protesters placed plates of halva in front of the Prime Minister's Office as a symbol of the "political death" of the regime.

During the rally, activists denounced the recent scandal of allocating 4 million euros for Kanye West's concert, the police's actions against citizens who left one-star reviews for hotels, and sent a strong message to political parties to keep their hands off the authorship of this protest.

After the speeches ended, the rally moved into a massive march that traversed the main axes of the capital, including the 9-storey area, "Zogu i Parë" Boulevard, "Fortuzi" Street and Durrës Street, under the incessant choruses of "Rama resigns" and "Your end has come."

The citizens dispersed peacefully, but with a clear message of continuity. In closing, a loud call was issued that on July 11, the square and the boulevard be filled with participation to make a historic boycott of the outgoing government.
