Democratic MP Edi Paloka has commented on the defense that Prime Minister Edi Rama is making of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, linking this to the recent investigations and scandals that have involved the government.
According to Paloka, the government is facing a series of scandals, from the ANA issues to the new decision on the sentence in the “Becchetti” case, which according to him will cost Albanians 110 million euros. Invited to This week in News24Paloka accused Rama of avoiding responsibility by defending Balluku, as he "feels that he could very soon be the one who will go to SPAK."
"These are hundreds of millions of euros that Albanian citizens will pay. Rama is defending Balluku, but it seems he thinks it's his turn. The people must react; they have pocketed 50 million euros," Paloka declared.
He added that Albanians are paying the bill for government corruption every day.
"Albanians should not stand up for our chairs, but for themselves and the children who are being stolen. The millions that disappear from tenders are paid for by citizens, both those who protest and those who applaud Rama," said the Democrat MP.
