The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a media appearance from SPAK, harshly attacked Prime Minister Edi Rama for controlling the justice system regarding the Balluku case. Responding to Rama's statement yesterday that this case is closed, according to Berisha, this is not true.

He added that it will be the sovereign who will lead Rama to the dock.

"Rama's control of the courts has been proven in recent months. The officials, let's be honest, I don't want to spoil my words, but they deserve to be called official scum. They don't dare to make a single statement in defense of the institutions. You've seen a statement by the KLGJ, ILD, in defense of the attacks for the sake of Lubia, which he made for himself. They couldn't utter a single word in defense of the institutions. I didn't say the associations that haven't reacted. But they're not official institutions. The ones that should have spoken are the justice institutions. Have you seen greater self-abasement of these institutions than in this case. At the height of the attacks, Metani, Toska, or Olsi don't speak a word. None of them are the banal evil of the country and that's all we can say about them. Their history will be archived as a history of shame, of people without dignity. Your file will never be closed with one Lubia, nor with a few. They are all about Edi Rama. The Sovereign will say "His word will be that the sovereign will show him the place and take him to the dock," he said.
