The Constitutional Court decided to proceed to a hearing for review of the appeal filed by the Council of Ministers regarding the "Balluku" case.
In an interview in "News24", analyst Ben Andoni said that he did not expect this decision. He also underlined that he believes that after January there will be another decision for Belinda Balluku.
"The judiciary is not really taking action. I am not able to say that what has emerged from the wiretaps is true, but if it is true, it is strange for the positions. The decision of the Court of Justice on Balluku is not normal at all. But we will have many developments until the end of January, but in my opinion Balluku has started a long dialogue with the judiciary, and I believe that the people of the judiciary will deal with him for a long time.
Mr. Rama has stated that there is a blockage of some agreements and Mrs. Balluku represents some institutions. From the logic that Rama has presented, he has shown that he is the official person who deals with these matters. I believe that Mr. Rama himself will take other positions into account after this date of January 22. He has simply given Mrs. Balluku's case a little oxygen. I believe that there will be a decision that will not leave much space for Mrs. Balluku. Mr. Rama knows better than to continue with Mrs. Balluku, in the face of power Rama will not care about other things... Mr. Rama, knowing that Balluku had problems with the judiciary, should not have appointed him to the government. So I believe you understand me, he has received oxygen for the functioning of the state... There is the possibility of a replacement, but it has become difficult because the Constitutional Court failed to show unanimous consent... The Constitutional Court should have shown its integrity", he continued.
