Former DP MP Ervin Salianji has made strong accusations against Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, describing him as Prime Minister Edi Rama's "political puppet". According to the former Democratic Party MP, the DP leader is serving Rama's interests, while at the height of the civil protests he chose to leave Parliament instead of, according to him, facing the majority and supporting the protesters.
Salianji also accuses Berisha of destroying the Democratic Party by excluding figures with contributions and merit.
Salianj's reaction
Sali Berisha has chosen to serve Edi Rama until the end. On the day when citizens protest in front of the Parliament, instead of confronting Edi Rama and being a political shield for the protesters, he abandons the Parliament and leaves. In the darkest days for Edi Rama, Berisha chooses to destroy the Democratic Party!
The same logic also prevails within the Democratic Party. As a usurper leader, he excludes from the Presidency the people with the greatest contribution. The most voted for by the citizens turn out to be the least voted for in Sali Berisha's Presidency. Those who have carried the weight of oppositionism for 13 years are either left out or ranked at the bottom. Regions like Korça and Shkodra remain without any representatives, while even the winning regions are ignored and not properly represented.
An opposition cannot win by excluding merit, votes, and contributions and introducing anonymous people who are unknown to anyone except social media as fans of the usurper!
If we want to remove Edi Rama, we must first remove the opposition's biggest obstacle: Sali Berisha, who has become Edi Rama's political puppet.
We will not leave the Democrats alone, their contribution will be appreciated!
