Former MP Ervin Salianji held a meeting with Democratic supporters and sympathizers in the city of Peshkopia, where there was no shortage of criticism of the current leadership of the Democratic Party.

During the meeting, the member of the Presidency of the FRPD, Arbër Kola, took the floor, who stated that the DP is in a difficult situation and far from the support it once had from the electorate.

"Today we are facing a crossroads. The DP is in a situation that is languishing. We are in a situation where not a single percent of those who voted for us follow the DP in its protests," he declared.

Kola also criticized the rhetoric used by Democratic leaders over the years, saying that political slogans have not been accompanied by concrete actions against the government.

"Phrases like 'the last kilometer' or 'we have passed the deadline for Edi Rama' no longer hold true, because they have been repeated several times and there has been no concrete action against Edi Rama," he said.

In his speech, the FRPD member praised former MP Ervin Salianji, stating that he "has stood up to this regime."

"Let me thank Mr. Ervin Salianji, because the only ones who can make a difference are the youth," said Kola during the meeting in Peshkopi.
