Journalist Aulon Kalaja commented in an interview on "News24", the IBAR report on Albania, after the European Union did not approve it.

During the interview, Kalaja said that this is a very big problem and that according to him, it is the Belinda Balluku issue that is holding back integration into the European Union.

"This is an obstacle on the path of Albania's integration into the EU. This affects the European passport that was promised to us. Mr. Rama is the biggest obstacle to the long-standing dream of Albanians, and there remains a Gordian knot to be solved, which is the issue of Mrs. Belinda Balluku who is holding hostage the aspiration of Albanians to the EU. Even the slaps that Albania has received in this direction, which were initially, have now become 9. If the Balluku issue is resolved, I am talking about the obstruction that Rama is making to justice," said Kalaja.

Also during the interview, Kalaja emphasized that the opposition has been completely ignored, although internationals have always called for political dialogue.

Kalaja: The opposition has been ignored, the internationals are demanding political dialogue. They go to the Territorial Reform, listen to it and take no action. What are people asking them about, or themselves, to take pictures? Rama is keeping our entire journey to the EU secret, and we are not clear where we are with the group chapters. The ministers he has put in charge are inarticulate. So far we have heard propaganda.
