The sensational story of Jeffrey Epstein will soon see a television adaptation, through a new miniseries based on The New York Times bestselling book, "Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story."
The series is based on the work of award-winning investigative journalist Julie K. Brown, who investigated the case for years, identifying nearly 80 victims and helping to bring the scandal to light.
Award-winning actress Laura Dern will star in the lead role, and will also executive produce the project. The miniseries focuses on the story of a journalist who uncovers a secret deal between Epstein and prosecutors, based on Brown's real-life experience during her investigation. Her work was instrumental in bringing the case back to the public eye and leading to the arrest of Epstein and his close associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
For her contribution, Brown has been honored with prestigious awards such as the "George Polk Awards" and has been included by Time magazine in its list of the 100 most influential people of 2020. The series is expected to shed light on one of the biggest scandals of recent years, bringing new details and deep perspectives on the Epstein case to the screen.
