The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, announced that during a meeting that the small parliamentary parties held with the Fact-Finding Mission of the European People's Party in the European Parliament, he presented the positions of the political force he represents on the current situation in Albania.

"I presented a clear and detailed presentation on developments in the country, with an emphasis on the narco-state, the elections and the political imprisonment of President Ilir Meta," Blushi said.

He emphasized that the discussion focused on issues that, according to him, are related to democratic standards, electoral processes and the rule of law in the country.

Blushi also expressed gratitude to the European People's Parties for their continued support over the years for Albania and its European perspective, describing cooperation with European partners as important for the country's future.
