The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to the decision of the Prosecutor's Office in The Hague, which is seeking a sentence of 45 years in prison for each of the 4 former leaders of the KLA.
In a message on Facebook, Berisha writes that the accusation presented today against former KLA leaders, former NATO allies in the war for the liberation of Kosovo, is a repetition of the propaganda slander of Serbian ultranationalists and the fabrications of the famous Vukcevic, who was the first to formulate against them the monstrous accusation of "harvesting organs" from Serbs, prisoners of war, and their trafficking, even in the territory of Albania.
"On this occasion, I call on the Court not to be influenced in its decisions by propaganda accusations that exceed all limits and are unprecedented in the history of international justice, and to confirm in the name of the law the innocence of the former political and military leaders of Kosovo," Berisha writes.

The prosecution in The Hague today filed the indictment against former Kosovo political leaders!
Dear friends, today the special prosecution of the Kosovo Court in The Hague presented the most serious charges and requested years of imprisonment for more than decades, about two centuries taken together, for the most important leaders of Kosovo's liberation war.
Being convinced that justice must deliver its verdict for every crime and against whoever committed it, and after having closely followed the long-standing trial process, and having concluded that no evidence, fact or document has been presented to the public to prove concrete crimes committed by the accused, I declare that: the accusation presented today against the former leaders of the KLA, former NATO allies in the war for the liberation of Kosovo, is a repetition of the propaganda slanders of Serbian ultranationalists and the fabrications of the infamous Vukcevic, who was the first to formulate against them the monstrous accusation of "harvesting organs" from Serbs, prisoners of war, and their trafficking, even within the territory of Albania.
On this occasion, I call on the Court not to be influenced in its decisions by propaganda accusations that exceed all limits and are unprecedented in the history of international justice, and to confirm in the name of the law the innocence of the former political and military leaders of Kosovo.
