According to sources, the Appeals Chamber of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has decided that this case be tried by another body. "The annulment of decision no. 06, dated 13.02.2024 of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime and the return of the case for retrial in that court, with another trial body," explains the Appeals Chamber of the Special Court of Appeal.

Previously, SPAK had requested a year in prison on charges of concealing assets, but the GJKKO sentenced him to 6 months, which were converted into one year of probation.
