SP MP Erion Braçe did not spare criticism of the government during his speech in the Assembly. He said that he has made requests for information to several ministries and agencies on a series of issues, and has not received a response.
He even said that the Minister of Agriculture, Andis Salla, had refused to interpellate him. He said that he understands that some in the government do not want to work.
"It's been several times that I've spoken about the same issue here. It has to do with requests for information from the Ministry of Interior, the Municipality of Tirana, and interpellations with the relevant ministers. Today, the requests for information from the Ministry of Interior and the AKUKU have expired. I also received a response from the Minister of Agriculture who said; I don't want to interpellate you! The Ministry of Agriculture is responsible for the issue for which I requested information. I requested information about abandoned companion animals, the Agency says that I have the authority and the ministry says; that I have the authority. I requested information about the controls carried out. I understand that there are people in the government who don't want to do their job, but I'm here to do my job. If this story continues so that 7 requests are not given information, tell us; stop making requests.", he said.
