"A POSTCARD IS COMING TO YOU", which is an initiative that seeks to bring joy to children in rural Albania for the end-of-year holidays by sending them gifts, has now entered its sixth year.
The initiative, founded by journalist Osman Stafa, seeks to connect Albanians with children, to make the latter's end-of-year holidays even more beautiful.
Kristina Belba and Gesjan Stafa were invited to "News24 Weekend" with Megi Latif.

Excerpts from the studio conversation:
Kristina: This initiative has been widely distributed. It is a voluntary initiative that aims to make children in rural areas, those who do not have a parent or those who are sick, happy.

Gesjan: It is the smiles of the children that motivate us to do this initiative again every year.
Kristina: We call the place where we collect gifts the "North Pole".
Gesjan: This year there are approximately 2 thousand children who will benefit, while we are still waiting for lists from different countries. The challenges we face most are for the areas where we have to go, which are selected by the people.

Kristina: I remember last year when we distributed gifts at the Shkodra Pediatrics, sick children, some with a fever, their eyes were watering when we handed them the gifts.
Gestjan: I remember a deep area of Librazhd, when we went to the school which had a total of 13 children, I can't forget how happy they were just looking at the boxes, let alone opening the gifts. Those children had never received gifts before.

Kristina: It's not necessary that they be part of the initiative, we can help children in our city or neighborhood. A gift doesn't make you poor when it brings so much joy.
