After more than two decades of absence, one of the most beloved events of Albanian music is making a strong return to the stage. On June 6 and 7, Albanian Radio Television will bring to the National Opera and Ballet Theater the historic return of the Spring Festival, an ambitious project that aims to revive the tradition, emotion and values of Albanian light music. The festival comes with a modern format, but preserving the DNA that made it one of the most important artistic events in the country. 20 artists with original songs will compete, who will perform 100% live, accompanied by the RTSH Symphony Orchestra and the music band, restoring the standard of live performance in Albanian music.
The public's interest has been extraordinary since the first days. The competing songs published on the official RTSH YouTube channel have garnered thousands of clicks and positive reactions, turning the Spring Festival into one of the most commented cultural events of the moment.
Albanian music stars will also take to the stage, such as: Altin Goci, Irma Libohova, Bashkim Alibali, Jonida Maliqi, Rovena Dilo, Aleksandër Gjoka, Eneda Tarifa, Frederik Ndoci, Ledina Çelo, Renis Gjoka, Kamela Islamaj, Dashnor Diko, who have written the history of festivals over the years, creating a bridge between generations and a unique spectacle of nostalgia and innovation.
Festival leaders have confirmed that the public will see a modern scenography, contemporary technology, live performances and numerous artistic surprises, while the organization is in the final phase of preparations.
Another element that has attracted attention is the presentation of the festival by two well-known figures of Albanian art: singer Bleona Qereti and actor Nik Xhelilaj, who will lead the two festive nights at TKOB.
The selection of the winner will be done through a new voting formula, where 60% of the evaluation will come from the Professional Jury and 40% from the "Digital Spring" Jury, combining artistic expertise with the perception of the new generation and the digital world.

The 2026 Spring Festival will be broadcast live on RTSH 1 HD, RTSH Muzikë and Radio Tirana 1, on June 6 and 7, turning the weekend into a great celebration of Albanian music.
