Invited to the "Lunch Program" section on News24, with moderator Ola Bruko, Gent Progni spoke about the arrest of Ergys Agas and raised questions about the way the arrest was carried out, while making accusations of suspected links to organized crime and Albanian institutions.

"The arrest of Agas, if done properly, if the investigation is in-depth, will reveal problems that we did not believe, with organized crime and with Albanian institutions," Progni said.

He focused on the problems that, according to him, are related to the Cadastre and property issues, describing the institution as one of the most abusive structures in Albania.

According to Progni, the way the complaints system operates creates obstacles for citizens seeking to protect their property rights. Progni said he finds the manner of Agas's arrest unusual, claiming that he had moved freely in Albania.

Progni also mentioned the name of Taulant Balla, claiming that in an investigation file there are conversations where his name is mentioned. He also claimed that a member state of the European Union is also involved in this matter, which, according to him, is conducting separate investigations. Progni said that he expects SPAK to continue the investigations and take appropriate measures if evidence of criminal violations emerges during the process.

"The arrest of Agas, if done properly, if the investigation is in-depth, will reveal problems that we did not believe, with organized crime and with Albanian institutions. The cadastre has been one of the institutions and has become one of the most abusive institutions with properties in Albania. They have made the system such that it is easier to manipulate. Every law they make, they make it how to steal and manipulate it better. They have a complaints portal. Every ministry is obliged to have a Complaints portal. If you enter the Cadastre portal, you have a sign that says; this service is not functional. According to the law, they take away the right in order for the citizen to complain about his right. Then this complaint goes to the co-government, where Anxhelo Koleka, the son of Rama's aunt, is. This co-government is directly led by the prime minister. There, this complaint is then blocked. Rama's closest person is part of this complaint. This is where the citizen is hanging around. That complaint is reported and then the citizen is threatened. The only solution left to the citizen is to go to court. This is done intentionally. Theft of property is one of the wounds that has caused many murders.

I am surprised by the manner of the arrest. I have received threats, I know how this underworld moves. They have known every day that he moves freely in Albania, Tirana-Durrës. It seems strange to me that Balla is part of the crime, it is proven. Conversations were intercepted where he speaks by name and surname. It is not information to say; wow. SPAK also has it as a file. To my knowledge, it will also act against Taulant Balla. The file is under investigation. I know that an EU country is also involved in that file, which is investigating it concisely. I hope that SPAK will have the courage for which it took on the task," he said.
