Ervis Çela from "Shqiperia Bëhet" has accused the government of a lack of transparency regarding the planned project in the Zvërnec area, calling institutional arrogance the main cause of the citizen reaction.
In "Studio24", Çela stated that citizens are not against investments or economic development, but demand complete information and respect for legal procedures.
"The biggest arrogance and the main reason why citizens are protesting is the arrogance of the government. Citizens demand transparency, they are not against investment," he said.
He also raised questions about the procedures followed to fence the property, claiming that for these works to be carried out, a project and the relevant permits must exist, which is denied by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who claims that the project has not reached the final stage.
"They say 4 million euros will be invested. How did it come out that much when there is no project? Let's say this is the project, this is the owner, this is the document. A permit is needed to fence the property and for the permit there should be a project. Why is this project not made public?", he said.
