Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with Albanian entrepreneurs, stated that construction is being constantly attacked, adding that this sector "has been put in the frame of accusations of links to crime."
He said that these accusations are disgusting, although as a phenomenon it is also widespread in other European countries.
"We came here precisely to see how the company has grown, what it has done over the years and how today, there are jobs that are paid the same as in Europe. When I say in Europe, I mean the neighboring one, not France and Germany, but a number of countries. We want to talk about how this transformative reality supports its own growth in a growing economy. We saw fit to ask the founder of the company to present the new project. We have a two-way discussion, about what has been done so far up to the project of the future. This is a reflection of the development sector, which brings a lot of good. But on the other hand, unfortunately, this sector is attacked when it appears successfully, which is hit when it appears as change. Which is covered with mud when it appears as a sign of tomorrow. It is a sector that constantly receives blows, mud, attacks and hurts many of its protagonists. Even in the construction sector, just like in any other country, including the countries that lecture us. The problems here in Albania are more sharper in some cases than they are in other countries. Not everything in the construction sector is clean. It is clear as sunlight and is precious as the sweat of tens of thousands of people. But this sector becomes visible as soon as someone comes to Albania. But to put it in the framework of crime, it is disgusting and unacceptable. Here is who is one of those behind these projects. It is impossible for some to accept success, but it is impossible for all those in the construction sector to be put in a sack of mud. There are some important facts to highlight. From this project alone, before work has even started, the municipality of Tirana has received 14 million euros in taxes. From this project alone! 14 million euros is a considerable amount. In this project, when it becomes a reality, the city will gain kindergartens, a kindergarten and the municipality of Tirana may gain a school. The investor's commitment will also build the school when the land is given to it," he said.
