DP MP, Jorida Tabaku, stated that the DP was at the scene after the fire was extinguished, where she met with affected residents and businesses, listening to their concerns.
In a post on social media, Tabaku explains that she did not publicize her presence in order to focus on citizens, while emphasizing that she has also raised the issue in the Assembly.

A necessary clarification for the citizens of Tirana
Since the media has entered a meaningless vortex of blaming the opposition, with the claim (not properly investigated) that no DP MP was at the crime scene in the burned-down palace, I must react to extinguish every untruth that spreads faster than the truth.
Yesterday, after the large fire was extinguished but the small fires were still burning, I was right there in that complex, talking about what had really happened and the serious consequences. I spent the entire afternoon talking to residents, businesses, and owners, listening to their stories, and figuring out what I could do to help them.
In fact, I thought about not publishing anything personally, because I thought it was more important to be close to those who needed a word and to be heard. Especially since today, in the Assembly, I definitely found the time to speak and raise this concern.
Of course, for me, parliament does not end at 14:00 p.m. And it was precisely after this hour that I was on the floor of the Assembly raising concerns about the burned building, which unfortunately escaped the watchful eye and ear.
All of this explanation serves the truth and citizens, who in the era of fast news often risk being misinformed in a hurry.
