The constitutive session of the tenth legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo began this afternoon under the leadership of the oldest MP, Avni Dehari.

"Honorable deputies, honorable deputies, the Speaker of the Assembly from the ninth legislature, in the joint meeting with the heads of political entities that have won seats in the assembly held on February 10, 2026, made preparations for holding the founding session of the tenth legislature of the Assembly," said the oldest MP, Avni Dehari, from the Vetëvendosje Movement.

The new deputies of the tenth legislature have begun to gather at the Assembly of Kosovo, where they are expected to take the oath as new legislators and vote on the Speaker of the Assembly and the Deputy Speakers of this legislature.

Also, the Vetëvendosje Movement has announced that after this session, another session is expected to be held to elect the new Government.

This is the agenda for this session.

1. The formation of the temporary Commission for the verification of the quorum and the mandates of the deputies,
2. The oath of deputies,
3. Election of the Speaker of the Assembly,
4. Election of the Deputy Speakers of the Assembly.
