The images you see show the scene of the shocking crime that took place today in Shkodra, where a 62-year-old man killed his wife with a shotgun.

The incident occurred around 13:00 p.m. on the eastern ring road of the northern city.

BalkanWeb learns that Shtjefën Ziçi shot his wife, citizen Bardhe Ziçi, 55 years old, with a pair of guns, leaving her dead on the spot. As can be seen from the footage, the ambulance is at the crime scene, as well as the police.

At around 13:30 PM, in the "Mark Lula" neighborhood, it is suspected that for weak motives, citizen Sh. Z., 62 years old, shot and killed his wife, citizen BZ, around 55 years old.

Police services immediately went to the scene and arrested the suspected perpetrator, citizen Sh. Z., who was escorted to the Police Station for procedural actions.
Police services have also seized the firearm with which the crime was allegedly committed.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident.
