The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has revealed the scenario of today's opposition protest.
In a media appearance, Berisha declared that the rally would be a peaceful uprising. He also announced that there would soon be protests in front of Albanian diplomatic missions around the world.
"The scenario of the protest is the scenario of a powerful peaceful uprising, which must be followed today more than ever in the homes of all Albanians, Brussels and Berlin and other centers. We are never defeated by a narcocrat. We are determined to protect at all costs the common values of free people in Albania and the world. Today, the scenario, I emphasized, develops after the failure of the first phase of the coup d'état and the initiation of the next phase of the coup d'état by Rama. It develops after the black card that was issued last night and today in Brussels to the man who today, for his thefts, is ready to set fire to such a vital process, integration towards the EU, our dream. We invite citizens to organize for the most powerful protests that have ever been organized in front of international representations. These protests will give their contribution with members and support, and they are vital. In these moments and in these moments, Rama has exceeded any kind of law and morality towards Albanians. So this protest marks and opens the way for the beginning of protests near the narco-state's representative offices to tell others that we represent the Albanian people," he said.
