The father of the 17-year-old from Fier, who was raped by her peers a few months ago, has spoken about the girl's condition and the progress of the investigation after the incident. In an interview for the show "With an Open Heart", he revealed that the girl has returned home and has continued her course, while currently undergoing psychological treatment and taking medication.

According to the father, the 17-year-old's condition has improved and she is now better. He said that the girl goes to a psychologist about once every two weeks, while emphasizing that the psychological treatment is prescribed by the state.

"He's a little better. He's at home and continuing his course," he said.

However, the father raised concerns about the way the situation was handled after the incident. He said the family was not called to give evidence and the daughter was not questioned in connection with the investigation.

"No, not at all, not at all. Apparently not at all," the father said when asked if he or the daughter had been called to testify.
The father also indicated that after the incident, no other support was offered to the girl, except for a psychologist. According to him, no relocation was made from the environment where she is. Despite the trauma experienced, the 17-year-old has returned to the course. The father said that so far there has been no other harassment from the families of the girls involved or other people. He added that the girl does not talk to her family about the incident and does not remember it in everyday conversations.

Evis Ahmeti: Hello! How are you?
Father of the raped girl: Okay!
Evis Ahmeti: I'm the journalist we spoke to in July. How is the girl? How is the wife?
Father of the raped girl: They are better.
Evis Ahmeti: Better? You still continue working in Vlora, I believe.
Father of the raped girl: Yes, yes.
Evis Ahmeti: We had the opportunity to talk to your sister-in-law during the show.
Father of the raped girl: Yes.
Evis Ahmeti: As far as we know, one girl is under house arrest (if I'm not mistaken), one is still in the hospital and the other is in prison. I don't know what the girl's condition is like.
Father of the raped girl: It's a little better.
Evis Ahmeti: Has he returned home?
Father of the raped girl: She's at home.
Father of the abused girl: No, no, at home, at home. And he continues the course.
Evis Ahmeti: He's continuing his course, but in the meantime, after the incident, he didn't receive any kind of treatment? Didn't anyone come to stay with him?
Father of the raped girl: No, none, never at all, not at all, yes, a psychologist, she herself, the state, has appointed one.
Evis Ahmeti: In the meantime, is the girl okay? What does the psychologist say, are there any improvements?
Father of the raped girl: Yes, he says so.
Evis Ahmeti: There are improvements, girl, right?
Father of the abused girl: She goes once every two weeks or... I don't know how she schedules the days she goes there.
Evis Ahmeti: Clear, clear. What about the investigations?
Father of the raped girl: I don't even know about these things, I don't know at all.
Evis Ahmeti: Aren't you called as parents to testify, or the daughter to testify?
Father of the raped girl: No, no, not at all, not at all. No, apparently not at all.
Evis Ahmeti: So from harassment, after the girl returned to the course, there was this type of… from other girls' family members, or some boy, or…?
Father of the raped girl: No, no. So far, no, not at all.
Evis Ahmeti: What is the situation like during the day, when you return home at night?
Father of the raped girl: It's better now, better.
Evis Ahmeti: Better? You don't experience things like...?
Father of the raped girl: No, no. She's gone, she's on medication now...
Evis Ahmeti: Is he on medication? Has he started taking medication? Is the situation that bad?
Father of the raped girl: Yes, she started taking medication when I hospitalized her in Tirana.
Evis Ahmeti: I understand.
Father of the raped girl: Eh... Now I have to take her to Tirana for a checkup, at the end of September.
Evis Ahmeti: Not even for you to be separated from where you are, to be taken to another place?
Father of the raped girl: They didn't even give her anything, not even the smallest thing!
Evis Ahmeti: I understand, I understand.
Father of the raped girl: They do it themselves with lies, do you understand me?
Evis Ahmeti: I understand, I understand, does the girl remember the event? Does she talk to you about the event?
Father of the raped girl: No, no, not at all...
Evis Ahmeti: I understand.
Evis Ahmeti: Are you going to the psychologist yourself with your daughter? To accompany her?
Father of the raped girl: The bride herself.
Evis Ahmeti: My wife herself. Well, okay. How are the other children? They also experienced...
Father of the raped girl: Okay, they're fine, I'm fine.
Evis Ahmeti: I understand, I understand and I'm glad they're okay.
Father of the abused girl: No, they're fine. That big chick looks good now.
Father of the raped girl: Thank God!
Evis Ahmeti: I'm glad, I'm glad! I'm very glad
