Following the decision of the Special Court to sentence former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, numerous citizens have opposed the verdict with various appeals.
"Not in my name" is one of the repeated calls from citizens both on social networks and in various places in Kosovo where they gathered to await the verdict of the Special Chamber.
The reactions were accompanied by photographs of Thaçi and other former KLA leaders, who were convicted today by the Special Chamber for war crimes.
Thaçi and Krasniqi were sentenced to 25 years in prison each, Veseli to 18, and Selimi to 13 years in prison.
