Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj speaks again from the run. The latter, in this media appearance, in an interview with "Çim Peka Live", Ahmetaj has not been sparing towards the Rama government and what happened above him that disrupted the vetting in the judiciary. He issued accusations against Balluku's sister, Pamela Qiroko, and two other characters.
"I'm starting as usual, like every show. What is your current picture in relation to SPAK? I would expand it a little in relation to justice and during our conversation we will refer to them as certain segments within SPAK and within justice, because I would never put all prosecutors or all judges in the same bag.
I still believe today that there are and will be prosecutors, there are and will be judges who will contribute to the restoration of the constitutional system in the deformed justice system that exists today. Look, the truth is very important, like kindness or elegance. Okay, since you're not going to lump everyone in one bag, tell me the name of a judge or prosecutor of SPAK who has convinced you in these seven years?
I am not known for any elegance in my denunciations. I am known, fortunately, for the help of documents, with the help of many citizens, with the help of many administrators, with the help of many former service employees, that I have brought in a direct manner and not at all with elegance…A verbal agreement, if you interrupt me we will not reach it, we will have the leak, but I will be there. I promise.
So, I said, there will be and not without purpose, because many events will happen. I said, there will be prosecutors and judges who will not do, as they should not do, the dominion of God, but will make the judge and prosecutor with public responsibility and will not call it an ordinary job, but will call it a national mission.
It is my right to have faith and hope. And I will refer to it later. However…We have also shared this moment and I was convinced that voting for the new justice was a national mission. Of course, I have also apologized to the public for my trust in the head of the organization. I never thought, to be honest, that the deformation would begin from the vetting.
Albanians should know, the vetting was done under the political tutelage of the head of the organization. And there were three main characters in the vetting. One, the prime minister's advisor who went to the vetting from the prime minister's offices; two, the looter's sister, Belinda Balluku's sister; and the daughter of an early friend of the head of the organization. And I have brought examples of how, for the same episodes and phenomena, someone has been disqualified by...", he said.
Peka: The Sandjaktar, the daughter of Genta Bunga's friend, and the sister of the robber, Belinda Balluku's sister. These are the three characters who led the vetting.
"Exactly. It's straight-up political and family nepotism. In what country in the world does this happen? And then we find some report card where they refer to the pseudo-reform as a success."
I said it the day we did the interview together. An investment that is deformed must be corrected. And I emphasize it again today and I say it, before I share with the citizens my situation, the situation of my family.
Today, I once again have faith in the United States of America, in the member states, I emphasize, in the member states. And Mr. Peka, I would add, I hope and I have faith that both the Constitutional Court, as the highest level, and the Supreme Court have the opportunity, and I have hope, to restore constitutional order in justice.
Segments of SPAK and segments of the justice system have subverted the constitutional order into pseudo-justice. I have said that Aran Çela would envy the behavior, violations, brutality and departure from the law that segments of SPAK and the justice system have committed,” said Ahmetaj.
