Irea Mati and Mario Skënderaj, students at the Faculty of Law at "Luarasi" University, were invited to the next episode of the podcast "Welcome to Luarasi" with Denisa Kele.

Students have appreciated the way lectures are organized at "Luarasi" and have expressed that the relationship built with the professors is what has kept them inspired and motivated.

Meanwhile, "Luarasi" University also has a Legal Clinic that offers legal assistance to those who do not have the economic opportunity to receive it.
Irea Mati explained how this service works and the fact that assistance is provided to people who need it but do not have the economic means to provide it.

"Primary legal aid is related to informing these categories that they have the right to come and seek legal assistance, while the second part is the assignment of lawyers.
"One of the activities we have carried out in practice has been precisely informing citizens about this assistance," she said.

Meanwhile, another situation that Mario Skënderaj said should receive attention is the speed of trial, because the delay in judicial processes remains a problem that citizens face. And according to him, this should be treated very seriously, while adding that technological developments can also help here.

"Participating in mock trials gives you the opportunity to translate theory into practice. In concrete cases, you can use laws in your favor. You have to be able to find specific articles that are in your favor. Luaras' team is always among the first. But what I would like to change is the speed of the trial, because the main problem in our country is the delay of cases and as young people, we are up to date with technological developments and why should we as a state not include this technological potential, so not replace lawyers," said the boy, among other things.

For her part, Irea Mati said that the Labor Code should receive more attention. During the interview, she emphasized that the Labor Code itself is very theoretical and that, in her opinion, there should be additions and changes.

"The Labor Code itself is very theoretical and includes all the procedural aspects of how it should function, but I think that in practice it is very lame and in specific cases leaves gaps. I think it is one of the problems of our society. I think there should still be additions and changes and some things should be emphasized more clearly in the code," said the student.
