Arti Papajani has been dismissed from his position as director of the Health Care Insurance Fund, by decision of the Minister of Health, Evis Sala.

BalkanWeb learns that Ilir Topi has been appointed in his place, who will take over the leadership of the institution from now on.

Arti Papajani was appointed head of the FSKDSH in September 2025, also by Minister Sala. The official reasons for his removal from office have not yet been made public.

The change in the Health Care Insurance Fund comes at a time when this institution has a key role in managing the finances and services of the health insurance system in the country.
