Elbasan police have referred the materials to the employee of the post office in Elbasan, as she is accused of embezzling a large amount of money from this institution.

Official police sources revealed that the woman in question is the citizen with the initials E.Rr., who is suspected of having embezzled 330,000 lek from payments made at the post office, operating in the institution's electronic system, with the credentials of a colleague of hers.

"The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Specialists referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen E. Rr., 48 years old, an employee of the Elbasan post office, as she is suspected of having embezzled 330,000 lek from payments made at the post office, operating in the institution's electronic system, with the credentials of a colleague of hers," the police explain.
