Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be temporarily retiring from music, saying he will focus on his family.
The singer, during the first concert of his North American tour, in Arizona, told fans that they may not see him for a while after the tour ends, revealing that he plans to temporarily retire from music to spend time with his family.
"This will be the last time I'm here for a while. I might take a break when the tour is over and be a dad for a while. If I don't see you for a while, I love you and thank you for coming," the singer said.
The singer is a father of two children with his wife Cherry Seaborn, to whom he has been married since 2019. This is not the first time Ed has taken a break from music, as he has retired before for the same reasons.
