The operation to contain the fire in Lura National Park continues, while the flames are being fought from the ground and air. Dozens of forces and two helicopters are engaged in the operation.
Two helicopters are intervening from the air, dropping water on the areas affected by the fire, in an attempt to contain the spread of flames in the forest massif.
13 firefighting forces, 7 employees of the Lura Administrative Unit, 4 employees of the Dibër Municipality Emergency Directorate, 20 volunteers, 14 employees of the Dibër Municipality Agriculture Directorate, and 8 employees of the Dibër ADZM have been engaged in the field.
Forces on the ground are working to isolate the fires and prevent the fire from spreading to other areas of the park.
