This afternoon, the fire in Çërrilë, Mallakastra, was reactivated, where the flames are spreading rapidly across a significant area of the pine forest.
The fire has alerted residents of the area, while emergency forces have arrived on the scene to extinguish the flames. 4 fire engines, 30 Armed Forces forces and 20 municipal forces are participating in the operation.
The rugged terrain is making it difficult for forces to intervene. Following a request for air intervention, a helicopter has arrived in the area, which will operate to extinguish the fire.
Fortunately, the fire source is located far from the residential area.
