The fire situation in Mallakastër remains problematic, although one of the most dangerous fires has been brought under control.
The fire in Panahor, on the border with the village of Cfir, has been neutralized, but the flames continue to spread towards Ngracan, keeping emergency forces on alert.
Two helicopters continue the operation from the air, dropping water on the most problematic areas to curb the advance of the flames.
Meanwhile, the fire remains active in Drenije, while firefighting teams and other engaged structures are working to isolate the fires and avoid danger to homes and other affected areas.
