Adnan Xholi, the first prosecutor to submit documents for the competition for the country's new chief prosecutor.

The candidacy has been submitted to the High Prosecutorial Council. The mandate of the Prosecutor General is 7 years and without the right to re-election.

With a career spanning over two decades in the justice system, Xholi is one of the most well-known names in the Albanian prosecution. Born in Dibër on July 6, 1975, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Law and was appointed prosecutor in January 2004.

He previously served as a Judicial Police officer and as a prosecutor in Gjirokastra, before being transferred to the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office in Tirana.

During his career, he has also held several leadership positions. He temporarily headed the Lezha Prosecutor's Office and the Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office, and then served as Director of the Investigation Control Directorate and later Director of the Judicial Directorate at the General Prosecutor's Office.
