The "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center has stated that this evening, due to a defect in the high-voltage electricity supply line that supplies Building A2 of the QSUT, there was a temporary power outage.

"Thanks to the immediate activation of backup systems (UPS, Generators), vital medical equipment has continued to function normally, guaranteeing the continuity of treatment and ensuring that the lives of patients are not compromised at any time."

"Immediately, the medical, technical and management teams were put on full alert, acting according to safety protocols and providing any necessary support to guarantee health services and taking the necessary measures," the official announcement states.

The QSUT assures citizens that the situation has been managed responsibly and professionally and that the institution remains fully prepared to deal with any situation, in order to protect the health and lives of patients.

The QSUT immediately set up a working group to verify the situation.
