One of the speakers at the massive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building addressed the head of the executive, Edi Rama, denouncing the political decision-making of recent decades and warning of an escalation of the citizen reaction.

The protester emphasized that the popular revolt has spread throughout the country, while demanding that those responsible for the current situation face justice:

"Edi Rama, look closely! All of Albania has exploded into the square. In these 35 years you have implemented Ramiz Ali's Katowice plan, so everyone is saying: Rama in prison, Berisha in prison! Do you want Rama to come here from his vacation to be the prime minister, or do you want SPAK to take him to the cell without coming here?!"

Further, he disputed the government's statements about the relationship with citizens, drawing attention to the blunt messages coming from compatriots abroad:

"Rama, listen to the voice of the people! You mention a social contract to us, but who did you sign the contract with? Here is the diaspora, Rama, the diaspora wants you in prison! All over the squares of Europe, the diaspora is screaming: Rama in prison! In a legal and democratic state, you would have resigned in time and not waited two months for this people to stand here against you day and night."

At the conclusion of his speech, he gave a strong warning to the prime minister about the protesters' further actions:

"You still have time, resign an hour before these people will come to arrest you at the Prime Minister's Office, Surrel or wherever you are! This is the voice of the people, of the Albanians. Listen to the people!"
