Mallakastër/Patos – The work of the forces engaged in dealing with the fire situation in several hotbeds in the Fier district continues.

Work has begun to control the perimeter of the fire in Mallakastër. 20 troops from the Armed Forces, 10 MZSH officers, 20 municipal forces, 4 forces from the Forest Service, and 1 fire engine have been deployed on the ground.

Meanwhile, work has begun to isolate the fire at the fire site in Drenie, Patos Municipality. The operation involved 3 fire trucks, 12 MZSH officers, 10 municipal forces and 20 Armed Forces troops.

Forces on the ground are continuing their work to control and isolate the fires, in order to prevent the fire from spreading further.
